Road Killin

This is the one.  The big one is done.  SON.  I left NYC in January 2010 with one of my oldest friends... Dizzy Dave Rankowitz.  We traveled for 2 weeks across the USA headed for California and I filmed most of the way.  I worked on this all year, little by little, made the song too... hope you like it... all those other road trip movies were just practice for this one.  Make sure to watch it with the highest resolution shaaaaaatts.

Autumn Travels

I've been traveling the past month.  Took a bus to Bakersfield, a train to Sacramento, a car ride to Portland, a wedding in Manzanita and two weekends in Vermont.  Here's another short travel video I made.  Good times.

Vinylmation

Wow.  It's been a while.  I've been digging through my father's crazy vinyl collection and made this stop motion short film.  If you are prone to seizures... maybe stay away, otherwise... focus on the faces and enjoy.

Roald Stevenson

I did some voice over work. Greg Condon did the animation. Read the description and watch it in 480p.
(Greg also made a comic book called "Roald the Rotten," a biography of Roald Stevenson if you will, which you should purchase if you like this. He'd love to send you one. More of Greg and I's older work to come...)

Weener

Yo yo. I know its been a while. Over a month actually. I've been working on all sorts of things though. All of which I will bombard you with soon. Very soon. Possibly tomorrow. For now, I put up a couple songs from the Weener New Year's Eve show at my place in Brooklyn. I'll put them all up eventually, here are four. Good times.

Saint Didacus Menagerie

Hello again faithful followers. How are you? Enjoying the weather? Good, good I'm glad. I've made another short film. Get used to it. Time is on my side now. In fact, I'll take some time to give a shout out, BIGGAHPS! if you will, ...to Tim Mai :::press reggae foghorn::: Mark "Scream Machine" Spupes :::again:::and Joe SAMson :::rapid fire foghorn::: We all went to San Diego this past week, breaking in Mr. Mai's new batchy pad right smack dab in the heart of Mission Beach. Also checked out the zooo000ooo. A buttload of wonderful images dance in my memory. Now they can dance on your computer screen like an Ally McBeal baby.

Eagle Rack!

If you want to escape for 10 minutes at work today, I made another shart film.. whoa.. ha.. uhh.... yikes.. I mean, short film. Yesterday I filmed a day hike to Eagle Rock with my digital camera and my phone. In the last week I've gone on 5 pretty amazing day hikes around LA, one of which Mr. Spupes and I had to hitch a ride back with a firewood thief, but I'd say yesterday's was easily my favorite. Twas a marvelous frolic. That's why I added some music from the "Where the Wild Things Are" soundtrack I suppose. Mark kind of looks like a child frolicking in the forest and I mildly resemble one of the monsters height-wise and feathery-face-wise. I'm going to make a couple of these day hike videos... buuutttt next time I'll try and make it a little bit sharter. Dammit!

Coastin'

Last night I put together this short film of my recent travels on the California and Oregon coasts. I'm also working on a much larger film that shows most of my trip cross country. So this is kind of a teaser for that one. The song I used is by Super Monster (aka my dear friend Joey Weiss of now Blood Warrior fame) and its called "Get You Down." Joey is either going to be pissed or thrilled that I used his song. Artists. So touchy.

:::Reggae Foghorn:::

I've added a music player above so anytime you want you can have the reggae foghorn sound. It can hype up anything. Personally, I like to use it over other genres of music besides hip-hop.. mainly the openings to corny 80's anthem rock songs and Cat Stevens "Wild World."

He Screams When He Spupes

For 8 years I have had the pleasure of terrorizing my neighbor in Brooklyn, Mark Suppes, or Spupes as we like to call him. Catching Spupes off-guard always results in paralyzing laughter. His arms tighten up, his face becomes utterly horrified, and he screams in such terror that sometimes he scares me back. I've been trying to capture him in this fragile state for some time.... and now I've finally done it. Make sure to watch this full screen so you can see his face.

Excuse me, but what the fack is Snapshats?

Good question my son. Well for one thing.. it's a funny name. It's also my weak attempt to share everything I'm doing with all my super jealous over-worked friends. Don't worry everyone.. I can't stay unemployed forever.. I'll get my comeuppance. To begin, the pic above was from my hike to Boney Mountain yesterday. Many, many more to come. Plus movies, art, other shats too.
